Is This a Real Life Griffin on the Montauk Shore?

No, Lizzie Grubman's still alive. This is an actual monster, some sort of rodent-like creature with a dinosaur beak. A tipster says that there is "a government animal testing facility very close by in Long Island," but unless the government is trying to design horrible Montauk monsters that will eat IEDs and fart fire at bad Iraqis, we're not sure why they would create such an unthinkable beast. Our guess is that it's viral marketing for something. Ali Lohan's new album perhaps. Click thru for larger dino-damage.

Thats not the same animal. The second one looks staged and fake. Why are its front paws burried in the sand? If someone wanted to show that it was the same animal they should have uncovered the front paws to compare.

Not a nice sight!

Here is a newly published photo of the Montauk Monster, the strange beast that recently washed ashore
on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. Sadly, it appears that the
monster's dinosaur-like "beak" visible in the previously-seen photo may
just be a decomposed snout caught at a weird angle. Over at
Cryptomundo, Loren Coleman puts the creature in context without ruining
the fun. New Montauk Monster Pic and Cryptid Marketing
