I can't think of a single reason why our planet would "Broadcast Gamma Rays"...except for Manmade Sources..such as Research facilities. So, my best guess at the lower center, shows two Gamma Radiation sources.

Assuming a "polar orientation" of the satellite...the bottom "left" source would be the Canadian CLS in Saskatchewan...and the one on the right should be "Brookhaven". THe source in the upper portion are likely to be in England..on the other side of the pole.
