In fact, the Queen is the Commander in Chief of the entire combined forces of the United Kingdom and Canada, as well as the murderously pro-UK, anti-protestant MI6 torture squads. She is the Head of the Church of England. She is the "Anglican Popess"/"The Proxy Pope" or "Proxy Vatican".
Of course Anglicans are just Catholic Kings and Queens still pissed off because the Pope refused to let Henry VIII kill/divorce his wives. (another quaint tradition of Reformed Catholic Monarchs). Still, but who could really blame Henry? Afterall he married several women in a desperate attempt to establish a "dynastic right" to share in the massive lands the Medici Pope had just "given" to Catholic Spain and Portugal.
In fact, one can only imagine the fury of Henry as he learned of Columbus return and the fact the Pope in Rome had completely left England and his family out of the massive redistribution of the entire planet. What you may not know is that "most" of Henry's wives were "Spanish" or otherwise a direct line with the Kings of Spain.
I cannot imagine his frustration, when wife and wife is said to have been "barren". One may even begin to suspect, his "wives" were more loyal to Spain and the Church than to Henry. It really doesn't make any difference today..but think of it like this...

It's fine to take a stand and defend your God and Country and your religion. But I agree with Thomas Jefferson..."organized churches are indefensible guardians of slavery, fiscal corruption and intrigue".
